Great setting and attentive staff. We had a great stay and the only minor issue (hot water) was fixed fairly promptly. Excellent location for Housesteads and other Hadrian’s Wall sites.

We had amazing time we loved the room especially how comfortable the bed was, best sleep I’ve had in a while and the room was immaculate. Its a lovely little castle. The tour is wonderful. Staff and service were very very good. The menu was limited and even steak/veg/ attracted an extra charge. The veg on the menu was limited to various potatoes and tenderstem brocolli or green salad. The food we had was beautifully cooked and presented.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Langley Castle! The staff is fabulous, we definitely recommend taking the tour. Dinner was a work of art, the duck confit was unbelievably delicious. Breakfast was very tasty. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The Derwentwater Suite was a gem. Highly recommend this property and we will want to visit again!

Lovely stay, food was fantastic. Both evening meal and breakfast was devine. Room was beautiful and immaculate. Great castle with lots of history, we did the castle tour that they do every morning which we thought was a lovely touch.

March 2025 night away

Hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, our room (26) was perfect, balcony that looked out onto the castle and the music in the drawing room made a perfect castle atmosphere, breakfast was lovely and the staff even do a guided tour of the place with history information and even a video when you get onto the castle roof, would definitely stay again.
