Helpful, friendly staff with a warm welcome. Fresh, modern room with the bonus of a skylight and a telescope to view the wonders of the universe. Highly recommended.
Nice little stopover on our drive from Speyside to London.
Room above the hotel which was clean and had everything required.
Food/drink in the bar well priced and tasty and busy place it was too.
Service excellent from all staff-no issues at all although busy little town so finding a parking place was the tricky part!!
Stayed for 1 night. Good value for money. No dedicated parking but we managed to get a space nearby. We had a lovely Sunday lunch in the accommodations bar. Nice pleasant stay. All staff really friendly and helpful.
We had a great time - the hosts made us feel very welcome. We requested a pack lunch which was delivered with our breakfast hamper. Extreamly good value for money and a comfortable stay in a lovely room.
Pretty good room above the pub. Quiet and clean…it’s what we expected. Not luxury, but friendly and inviting.

Very friendly welcome from Kayleigh who was very kind and helpful. She served an excellent breakfast too.
The only negative was the towels and bedding. They felt below standard due to age.
They were short of staff but very nice the two we met. Very convenient for our stay and Bellingham was a great place, plenty of pubs, cafes etc and a lovely walk to Hareshaw Linn.
Our room was comfortable with an excellent shower room but problems occurred with the tv which took a long time to solve.
The rooms have been refurbished and are nicely finished, in a contemporary style with a good sized ensuite. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful. The breakfast is continental, served to your room in a basket and very nice (no option for a cooked breakfast though). Bellingham is a lovely village, lots of history and with an excellent heritage centre, a good selection of local shops, pubs and places to eat, with beautiful walks.
Wasn’t worth £100 for the night. The room was nice and they did have complementary tea and coffee but the price of the room doesn’t include any breakfast. I read like some similar reviews that I had seen on the booking that it did. The bar/restaurant attached does nice food but the atmosphere may not to be everyone’s cup of tea. Locals had control of the music and it was very 90’s clubland. I would stay again but only if they reduced the price.
Stayed at the Black Bull for one night the room was nice and comfortable and clean had a lovely view. We had sunday lunch which was good and also a lovely breakfast the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again
