“the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The biggest wow was their amazing menus for breakfast an evening meal. All cooked to perfection and every bit the epitome of careful professional presentation and flavour. Definitely returning to this jewel in south Hams of Devon.”

“Room was really clean and spacious. Child's bed was not substantial at all. Hot weather meant room was very hot as no A/C. Only 1 small fan available which wasn't effective for a large room. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spa was small but ok. Pool unavailable due to 'high levels' on last day of 2 nights. Didn't have breakfast there but menu looked ok. We had dinner on one of the nights and staff were great. Food arrive in good time. Quality was ok.”

“Hotel needs updating in area's the room we had definitely needed new carpet and decorating,over all cleanliness ok staff pleasant and helpful. Disappointed outdoor pool closed all week, spa pool and gym nice,breakfast very good ,dining room pleasant, staff hardworking. Close to station and local buses.”

“The hotel was wonderful. All of the staff without exception were friendly, pleasant, courteous and helpful. I loved the Yoga sessions thank you Franny, Caroline and Laura. The hotel is out of the way, which suited us fine but it is difficult to locate and if you want shops etc the Beach Club is not for you. The curtesy bus was extremely useful.”
