“This was a unique and calming stay for us. The traditional room was beautiful and had unique touches. The view of the green maple trees was zen. We used the deep soaking tub and also the wonderful onsen facility. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway.”

Rooms were beautiful, but … when we walked in we could smell the mustiness and you could see traces of mould on the one wall. Airing out didn’t help. We were there only one night and it was full so we just stayed. We spent a lot of time in the meals were incredible - both dinner and breakfast and worth it to add on.”

“One of the most beautiful ryokans I've been to. The gardens, the pond, the koi - simply stunning. Feels like you've been catapulted back in time. Location is right next to Shuzenji temple & bamboo forest. Staff was increadibly hospitable too with an eye for detail and went the extra mile in taking care of our luggae, car & my mum's rollator storage. Food (especially dinner) was very good too.
