“A nice hotel, well appointed in the public areas. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Boti the chef. The room was small however there was a separate study/dressing room area. There is a somewhat terrifying lift to the upper floors. A good substantial breakfast was included. It is situated in the town centre very close to the railway station. ”

“Charming historic building but inside there was a modern hotel with clean and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. It also has ample parking. There is a pleasant bar area and restaurant. They served a good buffet breakfast with a range of food to suit all tastes (fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread/toast, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and also a full cooked breakfast). “Met with a friendly welcome and shown to our room. Whilst we had our own bathroom it was down the corridor from our room. Not a problem at all but unexpected. Food served in the pub is excellent and has a nice beer garden. The pub was very busy when we arrived and had to park a bit down the road but I moved the car into the main car park later in the day. Continental breakfast is available and just help yourself, this suited us. Nice pub and room. Would recommend.”
