Lovely, clean and well kept hotel. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was great, with good amounts of choice. Parking was free but not overly well signposted (as the entrance to the car park seems to have been relocated due to the new tearoom coming soon). If you drive past the hotel and go down the first road on the left, take another left and the car park is just there. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel had character - it’s nicely decorated and rooms are smart. Breakfast was really poor, badly organised (not enough of anything) scrambled eggs looked awful. Asked for tea twice, from two different people but no show. I put this down to it being wedding season. Was very busy. Hotel itself was nice and in a good spot, Stevenage old town is nice with loads of pubs, bars and restaurants to chose from all a walk away,

Great stay

We have stayed before and each time the hotel is friendly and beautifully maintained and comfortable and the staff cannot do enough. Enjoyed out stay even though a bit of a sad time for us, scattering ashes of my mum, but the hotel made it a happy experince.
