“Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel.”

“Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. “Excellent overnight stay prior to getting the Channel Tunnel to France for a holiday. Great location, lovely English pub, good food, great accommodation and lovely staff. Second stay here but will definitely book again if we are going to Europe in the future.”

“Lovely room with everything you need. Pub was great for dinner and the breakfast was excellent (Great choice of cooked options and good selection of cereals, juices, yoghurts, croissants etc). All the staff I came into contact with were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Will be staying again next time I am down in the area.”
