Lovely little pub and rooms, food is very good although it's at a price point where you'd expect that.
Lots of German and Dutch tourists stopping and a few locals. Not much of a pub vibe as it's all given over to dining but the room were spacious and comfortable.
Lovely accommodation which was ideal for a one night stay when attending a nearby wedding
Breakfast the following morning was excellent with plenty of options of cereals, juices and cooked breakfasts
Lovely setting..nice comfortable & good sized room.
Food was very good, didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment..
My only complaint is the lack of a mirror close enough to a socket so you can dry your hair…most places don’t have one to be honest & as I’m only short I couldn’t see in the bathroom mirror to use that either. I was able to move the mirror on the door but was still 3 feet away from it.
Wouldn’t make me not stay again..
The staff were all very good, smiley & efficient.
The Inn was a rare find. Perfect location between Dover and Canterbury. Lovely restaurant, lively people. Restaurant had good food and a great atmosphere.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The public areas are run down. The room was a stark contrast to the lobby. Bright, clean, spacious. Beautiful view out to the water.
The staff was friendly and very warm. Easy street parking around the corner. Lots of dining options near the area.
Well appointed room. Private and cozy. Clean and modern.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Convenient bus into Dover or to Canterbury. Would have liked to stay longer!
Quite possibly the nicest stay at a B&B in the UK. Room was excellent, clean and well thought out. Bar and restaurant offered an amazing varied menu and breakfast was included, which also had varied options. The staff were always extremely helpful and happy to help. A beautiful old pub in a countryside environment within easy distance of Dover, Deal and Sandwich. 20 out of 10
One of the top two places I stay at around the whole of the south east of England truly fantastic comfortable amazing food so friendly and welcoming all the time
Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!
Stayed for first time but will return. Excellent room & shower all efficiently handled. Only criticism would be that cooked breakfast was on a cold plate & bacon fat not cooked hardly at all but everything else was great.
Great rooms adjacent, but separate to the Lydden Bell pub; one electric car charger ( first come basis) pub staff very friendly, good atmosphere and excellent food. Large garden area if you are lucky with the weather.
Room was lovely. Menu was on a blackboard . Not easy to see familys eating food . Our food was not good value for money. 45 min wait for breakfast. Only 4 to serve. Was thinking of leaving . Toast never ask if you would like brown or white bread . Toast cold .
Brand new accommodation- it was lovely and clean. Excellent service. Breakfast tray very welcome and we left early next morning. Would recommend family room
Stayed for one night prior to getting the Eurotunnel the following day.
This is what I would call a country pub which is family friendly with large grounds for children to play.
The rooms are all new with very modern fittings and found to be comfortable. Moderate size room, which is large enough for short stays. Good shower over a bath and whilst not a problem, the bath is very small and would have I preferred a walk-in shower.
Had an evening meal and breakfast, both were well cooked and good value. Service was a little slow, but not when it tasted like everything was freshly cooked, so well worth any wait.
Overall a great place to stay, excellent value and highly recommended.
