“We had a good stay. The staff was reluctant to serve us dinner because they had other bookings - which was a bit strange - we wound up at a nearby Italian restaurant.”

If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . “Upon arrival the reception was not staffed (unlike the confirmation stating it would be between 3pm and 7pm), ringing the number noted on the front door we were confronted with a very annoyed woman stating that text confirmation would have been sent for security codes for the required doors (no email nor text were ever received through Expedia or directly). “Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
