This little hidden getaway was just what was needed. The staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and professional. The accommodation (we stayed in the cherry room, with hot tub) was spotless, roomy and very comfortable. Great value for money. The food, both dinner and breakfast was out of this world. We will definitely be booking again!

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and relaxed, making it a perfect getaway for the two of us. One of the highlights of our stay was having our own private hot tub. It was such a great touch and made the whole trip feel extra special—ideal for unwinding and enjoying some quiet time together. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast. The property is ideally situated for walking. Great welcome, room ready and staff lovely. We raised an issue immediately about no cushions on the patio furniture. We were given four chair seat cushions but a couple of hours later the owner, Jason had been and purchased two long cushions. Whilst they didn’t fit the sofa we made do and appreciate the attempt to immediately correct something. The room was a little tired in places but in speaking with the owners, they are slowly making their way around to fixing everything having only taken over a year ago! The hot tub was great. The addition of a very large fan in the room (on the three hottest days of the year) was a brilliant idea and it certainly helped to keep us cool. Breakfast was good. Evening meals we ate were also good. The grounds are beautiful. A quiet place tight in the heart of nature! Would recommend

Staff went out of their way to provide an excellent service and deal with queries, all of them, and we spoke to about six during our 3 night stay. Wi-Fi was a problem however, partly due to local geography. Would it not be simple just to put in an ID and a password which could be contained in room info? Breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant but it was a surprise not to have a "help yourself" area with cereal, yoghourt, fruit and juices for those who do not want a cooked breakfast. I did however try 3 different cooked breakfasts and enjoyed all of them, as well as the interesting Rooibos tea. The above are meant to be constructive criticisms, more than outweighed by everything else. We could come back again.
