Of particular interest was on the ongoing 'construction' but nearing completion, of a waterfall and pond within the limits of the garden. “Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lots of attention to detail. Gluten free diet catered for really well, gluten free biscuits in the room and gluten free cake to have with a cup tea/coffee on arrival. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely go there again”

“We received a warm welcome from the host, with drinks served in the garden on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well presented to a high standard. Breakfast on both days had a wide choice and was delicious with friendly service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this country house hotel to anyone staying in this lovely part of Wales.”

“With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell. The room itself was comfortable, clean, no damp smells which I feared on entry to the block.
