“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. Por la mañana, desayuno lento y no practico para alguien que tenía una agenda muy ocupada ese día con muchos kilómetros por delante. No los recomiendo”

“Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area.”

“Lovely history and nice to see our heritage being used in the 21st century. The building could do with some serious restoration though. Not just a lick of paint. A complete rethink of the room layout. Our room, unfortunately, was right by the air conditioning system and it hummed all night. Ear plugs did the trick! Would appreciate a hand shower as well as the fixed overhead as I don't always want to wash my hair every time I shower. Most hotels have both. No chef, so only breakfast available....

“Habitaciones perfectamente limpias. No hay limpieza a diario (ni falta que hace), pero sí te ofrecen toallas nuevas y cualquier cosa que necesites. Obviamente, las instalaciones no son modernas. Es un hotel antiguo, histórico, y ahí radica buena parte de su encanto. Tuvimos un problema con la accesibilidad y lo resolvieron con gran amabilidad y eficacia. El pub del hotel es encantador, y el patio, delicioso para comer o tomar algo cuando hace buen tiempo.”

“Good location, we walked into the town centre for an evening meal. Don’t leave breakfast until the last 15 minutes! We had to share a cup, and the coffee and hot water had run out. Great parking, room ok, but cups really need to go through a clean dishwasher.”
