Room was exceptionally clean nice comfy bed only down fall was no tea or coffee in room but there was free tea and coffee in the reception which you could take back to your room and considering it was bang in the centre of town it was very quiet

My stay at Thistle was quite brief as I arrived late in the evening and went to the airport quite early in the morning. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant, they were friendly and efficient. The room was ok, clean and fine for one night. The one thing I did not like much was the noise you can hear from the street.

Great stay and good value for money excellent get free hot drinks all day. Breakfast was ok could have bit better quality eggs and bacon and mushrooms but over all satisfactory. Maybe cooler rooms as was bit hot fan was in room to help might be asking to much but aircon would have been great. Again great place for value and location outside central London.
