“Great stay overall. The hotel was lovely, comfortable and welcoming, and the bar had a great atmosphere in the evening. Staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We also used the swimming pool, which was a nice facility, although the water was quite cold. The only issue was at breakfast. We had already paid for breakfast through Expedia, but unfortunately this hadn’t transferred into the hotel’s system, which caused some confusion.”

“We were advised on arrival that a wedding was taking place on the Saturday, not a problem except we we’re giving a room almost above the function suite. The carpet in the room was filthy and not what I would consider acceptable at this price point. The hotel has no air conditioning, the room was too hot even with the window open all night. The pictures on the website are clearly taken when the hotel was refurbished years ago.”
