“Room was not cleaned. Apparently you have to request to get a room cleaned. Also, had to pay $20 to check in an hour early even though the room was empty. Breakfast was packaged danish and coffee....thats it. The hotel has declined over the years as I have stayed there well over 20 years. May keep looking around, lots of B and Bs closer to the water.”

“The hotel was ok but our room seemed to be one of the few still unrenovated ones. It was supposed to be a Deluxe room but it was far too small and uncomfortable to qualify as such. The old, outdated and small bathroom did not help improve the experience either. However, the worst part of our stay was the unfriendliness of the staff. Smiling and helpfulness are clearly not part of their profile. Location was good though, but I will choose another hotel in the area if I return.”

“Beautiful location, quiet, but close to beach and shorelines. Lots of thoughtful luxuries provided like beach chairs, buckets, snacks, fruit and a nightly fire with smores.”

“Despite the weather, it was lovely staying at the Stage Neck Inn, in Maine. The staff is quite friendly and very helpful. The dishes were delicious as well as the buffet breakfast with view to the sea. ”
