“I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

“The reception was welcoming and made you feel that your stay will be comfortable. The room was clean but the furnitures shown years of neglect the fridge didn’t work and in the bathroom the basin was cracked and looked like this had happened years ago the toilet needs replacing, the tap over the basin was so short that as you attempt to use it the water was feeding back to the work surface instead of directly down into the basin. “Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊”
