“The manager/owner was very nice and introduced him self. The apartment was modern and homely, however after an hour of being at the property I noticed my feet were filthy dirty, when the manager knocked I did ask for a mop he said it would be an extra charge to give it a clean, after receiving the mop i went to use to to realise it was already filthy dirty and unable to use. I had to send my husband the shop to get a mop and bucket so i could clean it. We also had to buy bedding due to there...

“not expecting a great deal for the price and got exactly that. Shower warm but hot tap not working. Tea bags, milk and sugar, great. No mug. Stronger curtains would be useful. Not a place for long stays for me im afraid.”

“Came to a room in the dungeons through a corridor that was not even decorated Room was okish but the toilet had not been cleaned and the bowl was full of dried urine stains”

“We've stayed at The Imperial many times before and it's always excellent. Our twin room (205) was very spacious, with a good bathroom and modern TV. There's plenty of parking. Breakfast as always was excellent and the members of staff were very helpful.”

“Excellent stay with excellent hosts & staff. Room comfortable and clean. All facilities catered for. Excellent selection at the bar & also at breakfast which is delicious. Only downfall was the coathangers being too high to reach. I'm 5' 3". Can't fault this hotel & have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay staff very helpful, breakfast was delicious, we had evening meal there as well had a couple off drinks at the bar ( not cheap) but overall we had a brilliant stay”

“Excellent value B&B. Single room was small but clean, the bed was comfy and the shower as good as any. Nearby car park and there is the possibility of free on-street parking a few blocks’ walk away. Handy location for Tower and North Beach.”

“Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean but not very maintained. The windowsills were cracked and broken, the radiator in the bathroom was so rusty that it was leaking water and was cold so was cold when bathing. There is no entertainment, when I enquired, I was told that we could go to their sister hotel The Norbeck if we wanted entertainment, as it says its available on the website. The evening meal on the Friday was not set up correctly, no one to sit us down, then were told that we needed...
