“The manager/owner was very nice and introduced him self. The apartment was modern and homely, however after an hour of being at the property I noticed my feet were filthy dirty, when the manager knocked I did ask for a mop he said it would be an extra charge to give it a clean, after receiving the mop i went to use to to realise it was already filthy dirty and unable to use. “We totally enjoyed our stay at the Doric. The room was spotless & all the staff were excellent. The reception staff, the bar staff & in particular, the restaurant staff were all amazing. Louise in the restaurant has the most incredible customer service skills. She went above & beyond for us & others. All the restaurant staff were very attentive & the food was very good 😊”

“EV drivers: don’t make the mistake I did and choose this hotel over nicer alternatives because it advertises EV charging. The hotel itself is dated and shabby. Our tiny, oddly shaped room had clearly been subdivided at some point. The bathroom looked nothing like the modern ones pictured online: mouldy grouting, rust-coloured staining, tired shower curtain and an extremely narrow bath. “Excellent stay with excellent hosts & staff. Room comfortable and clean. All facilities catered for. Excellent selection at the bar & also at breakfast which is delicious. Only downfall was the coathangers being too high to reach. I'm 5' 3". Can't fault this hotel & have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“Room not the cleanest but OK Room could do with some repairs, it had been refurbished but on the quick and cheap, no heating but not a problem for us, view spoiled by dirty windows. The place is ok for a cheap place to rest your head with no frills, you should note you don't get your room serviced daily. Free parking was a bonus if you are quick.”
