“We had a great stay at snowdonia mountain lodge! Awesome location for hiking and exploring Wales. Clean room, friendly staff and a unique atmosphere. We cooked our own dinner in the common kitchen and enjoyed a walk directly from the lodge. I highly recommend this place for those looking to get off the beaten path!”

“He estado alojada otras veces en este simpático castillo. Esta vez tenía que ir a ayudar a mi hijos a instalarse en la universidad de Bangor. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. ”

“Enjoyed my stay at the Menai hotel, my room was a good size and clean and comfortable too. The hotel breakfast was very good also. The hotel's location is in Upper Bangor and is not far from the railway station and near bus routes and not far from the town centre either. The limited interaction I had with hotel staff I can say that they were pleasant and helpful. Overall, definitely no complaints.”

“Room was filthy tired and many items broken. No toilet roll in the room. Hotel kitchen shut just before i arrived. There was no opportunity for any food. Sorry, kitchen is shut. Breakfast didn’t start until 0800 and that was far too late. Staff really could care. There is absolutely nothing in the local area as the hotel is very very remote. “The staff were very helpful. The meal was let down by the hoped for cheesecake as a dessert, what came was the furthest from a slice of cheesecake as possible; a sickly ball half filled with tasteless froth and a few biscuit crumbs.”

The mattress was completely shot—sagging with metal springs that poked into my body every time I moved.
