“The property as a whole far exceeded our expectations. I SO wish we would have planned to stay longer! It's even more beautiful than in the photos. Highly recommend staying here as an adventure base, but also be sure to build in some time to just sit and relax in your gorgeous room or the living room, with the beautiful views and a book + tea or coffee.”

“The accommodation is modernised throughout with quality furnishings, fittings and amenities. Mary greeted us at the door and is very welcoming and friendly. Excellent cooked breakfast and plenty of other choices for breakfast.”

“Unfortunately the bathroom could do with a re paint as there was mold on the ceiling. The owner seemed surprised to see us ?? And the bedroom door was dirty. Good location. You have breakfast in your bedroom from a box .”

“The Castle and rooms are beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Richard and Jes are wonderfully gracious hosts and the breakfasts are excellent!! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect romantic atmosphere and setting for our celebration.”
