“This is a good hotel for a stay of one or two nights. However, in general the building needs an update. Especially if I look to the price a paid for the room. The bathroom is clean but basic. The restaurant offers exceptable food. The breakfast is too basic (the bread is not good, nothing to choose, very basic and dry). The staff is very fiendly.”

“Really great stay. The public areas of the hotel are very welcoming and the grounds surrounding it fabulous. Room very well appointed and spotlessly clean. I used all the spa facilities which were a real bonus. The staff were really courteous and helpful. All in all, thoroughly recommended.”

“The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful!
