My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa. The hotel was comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and we had a very relaxing visit. One thing that really impressed us was how peaceful our room was. There was a wedding reception taking place on the same evening, but we couldn’t hear any noise from it at all—even with our windows open. It made for a fantastic night’s sleep and showed how well the hotel manages events while ensuring guests can still enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Our family room was spacious, airy, bright and clean. For more than 1 child a bigger room may of been needed. As a spa hotel the facilities were good, however I would not recommend for families with younger children, this hotel is clearly aimed at an adult experience. During our stay a civil ceremony took place, daytime was civilised and did not intrude too much on our stay, however at night loud music and raucious guests kept us awake until nearly midnight, I would advise checking if anything is going on at the hotel during your stay before booking. Overall good value spa and pool facilities, not a family friendly hotel, would recommend for a short stay adult only.
