Friendly helpful staff. But the bedroom was insufferably hot (admittedly during heatwave) even with a fan. Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit with only overripe bananas. Dining room window we sat next to was very dirty - cobwebs and dead bugs aplenty. Overall, great staff but otherwise a lot of room for improvement.

The hotel would benefit from some investment and TLC, this said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The car parking is good gives easy access to the town centre which has some good restaurant choices. The room was well proportioned and offered plenty of space, however, a lack of shelves in the bathroom for toiletries was frustrating.

We had a lovely one night stay in one of the feature rooms which had a very large four poster bed. The room itself was a good size. The bathroom was small but had everything that was necessary. The bed was very comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast was good and the full English was just the right size. The staff that we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again.
