“The property is within a stone's throw from everything in Bowness, but that's about it. The flat itself is spacious, but it is meh. It lacks some touches, and most amenities need refurbishing/replacing. Only one vertical fan was available, and the small fans in each room is a heater/fan combo that does not provide cooling especially in the heat. “Absolutely awful experience. The property was falsely advertised as having a gym and spa on site – neither of which exist. To make matters worse, the CO2 alarms went off at around 5:30am, which was extremely alarming. When we contacted maintenance, they “fixed” the issue by breaking the alarms just to silence them. Unbelievably, the host then attempted to charge us £99.99 to repair the very alarms their own maintenance team damaged. Completely unacceptable behaviour and very poor management. I...
