Absolutely the nicest staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in! They were just amazing! The room was spacious. The food in the pub was really good. Just a superb place to stay and I highly recommend!

Quaint, pleasant place. Friendly and helpful staff. Other reviews said it would be loud but that was not our experience, and we were there during a bank holiday weekend. Pub garden is very nice.

Only small gripe was the shower head had a bit of black mould on it and one roller blind came away whilst I was closing it. Luckily my husband was able to clip it back in quickly. Room and bedding both clean, grounds beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was fantastic, quality hot cooked breakfast and very pleasant staff. We would visit again, thank you.

The staff is so kind and helpful. Food is amazing. They have a pretty cool pub that you can spend time. The room is very clean and spacious and Windermere is a beautiful place to visit. Overall I am very happy with the experience and hope I can visit again.

The room was lovely, very clean with a view over the town towards the lake and mountains. The staff were very helpful, I needed two singles not a double and they immediately sorted this. Breakfast was very good ....and generous. The hotel is in an excellent position for the town and lake and has the bonus of parking.

The staff are fantastic! The inn is situated in a perfect spot for leisure, food, and activities. The view was great especially in our room. Though there’s no lift and the parking is a bit tricky due to limited space.

Another fantastic stay here. We first stayed when my husband proposed (actually onsite) in 2010, revisited in 2016 for our wedding anniversary and then returned this February (2026) with our children to share this special place. Every time we have been the staff have been great, the rooms are comfy and spotless and the food has been delicious. We were all very sad to leave today. Thanks to the team for a lovely and welcoming stay.
