“Friendly reception and service. Room was non-smoking but one could notice it had been smoking before, every time at entering the room. Comfortable bed. It's clear the bathroom had been renovated, but why wasn't at least one hook installed to hang towel and/or clothes? Very frustrating, moreover as the (gliding) door wasn't of any help here either.”

“What a historical gem this hotel is. great staff that looks out for their guest. will return on our next visit to UK. if you are into history do not pass this place up. F&B on point and reasonable price”

“The hotel is a little tired and could do with a bit of tlc in some areas. But overall it’s a great hotel in fantastic surroundings. It’s peaceful clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again if we are needing to stay in this area. ”

“Me gusto mucho el servicio y tratamiento del personal, todo el mundo muy anable y servicial. No me gusto servicio del restaurante, el desayuno muy bueno, caliente, pero la misma cosa todos los dias, yo entiendo que es un típico desayuno inglés, pero debio haber mas variedad. Yo soy Hindu, me gusta el picante y no habia salsa picante en ninguna parte del hotel. La próxima vez traigo mi propio picanto 😊”
