Everything showed how much thought had gone into making our stay the best it could be. There was also a parking spot for every room. We will tell all our friends and family about this lovely idyll.”

Breakfast is not provided but our host had a bag of items to take with us for the day, including a banana, a carton of juice, granola bar etc. Tea and water was available to make in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep so be mindful of that. You can walk to restaurants but the shortcut is a bit steep too. “The hotel is lovely, very tastefully renovated, the bedroom we stayed in (Uist) was extremely comfortable with a proper sized TV. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were top notch. Beautiful large walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. Everything about the hotel was done with care and attention, you felt like part of the family. Great food, breakfast and superb coffee.
