The property is a very compact, windowless room that has all the quiet and hot shower and comfortable bed that we needed for our overnight stay in Oban. It is right in the heart of Oban and right outside the door is both the train station as well as the tourist zone to explore. The seafood at Oban is exceptional, and the circular wall on the hill is worth the hike up!

Wonderful staff and we appreciated the coffee kettle and water in our rooms. Our biggest issue was the size of the room and minimal space to put anything. Location however is excellent and the two staff members we encountered were super nice and very helpful.

Great location, small rooms but that’s all you need. Self check in was great too. The steam from the shower set off the fire alarm and called the fire brigade, so make sure you keep bathroom door closed. Fan in bathroom could be more powerful and a sign on the door (our room did not have any signs about this). Still would stay here again.

I had a bit of a time getting in. Whatever was supposed to load on my phone would not, so I had to call the number outside (there’s no one on-site) and they were able to help me get in. It was a bit weird sleeping in bunk beds in my 50s, but the mattress was good, and the room temperature was controllable, which I much appreciated (I like a cool room), and the bathroom was nice. The TV remote batteries had died, so I emailed the hotel, and someone immediately brought new ones over, The staff really are very good.

This was an ideal place for an overnight stay before the ferry. Although the room is compact it is comfortable and well-equipped. I emailed before arrival and was sent the code to open the door (although we couldn't get it added to Google wallet, the web app worked fine, which was a relief arriving in torrential rain). Although there is some noise from people coming and going, this did not go on late and we slept really well. Room was clean and had air con. No parking but many car parks in Oban are free between 18.00 and 8.00 so this wasn't a problem for an overnight stay. I would definitely stay there again.

This was an absolute perfect place to stay in Oban. Room was clean well maintained and super quiet. Wasn't sure about no window given I sleep with the window open at home however the air conditioning/heating system worked perfectly. Didn't wake up stuffy in the morning like would normally do. Can't wait to return 😊

The room is spotlessly clean and check in was easy. This is so efficient! Guests should understand there is no outdoor space and you access the building electronically. There are no windows (which was a blessing because it is dark and quiet for a good night's sleep). It is steps from the train, bus and ferry terminals as well as close to the best seafood in Scotland. Hang out at an outdoor table at a nearby pub, enjoy the people watching, and go have a good night's rest before your next day's travels.

Park in the railway station carpark. The accommodation building is first left in the carpark under the metal stairs. It's £24 for 24 hours parking but worth it as room and parking still is less than most accommodation in Oban which also do not have onsite parking. Onsite parking at hotels is rare to find in Oban and every where else's room rate is double almost, which is a lot more expensive. The location is perfect. I was on the ground floor. Noise not an issue and I went to bed at 11pm and woke at 9am. No disturbance through the night. I will be back.
