“Breakfast was okay, traditional English breakfast buffet. The room needs renovation, bathroom was very bad condition. We got one dirty towel had to replace it. Room felt moist.”

“The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

“Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”

“Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush.”

“Fantastic view over Morecambe Bay. Lovely clean bedding and comfy bed. Great to have kitchenette to make food and a nice sized fridge. Don’t be put off by the downstairs exterior as once you’re in it’s all fine. Great value for money & dog friendly. It was a bit noisy as the fair was there and a firework display but assuming this isn’t the usual.”

“Fire alarm went off, couldn’t get in contact with the host at all so the firemen had to override the system. without that the alarm would have went off all night. no checkout information was given, so wasn’t sure what to do at all. told to contact a number rather than on the booking site and never heard back. better places in Lancaster to stay.”

“Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space.”

“I stay in hotels most of the year and decided to try something different , would highly recommend this apartment, really comfortable bed, large living room , modern bathroom with large shower, Full kitchen equipped with everything you need, thought parking was going to be a problem but managed to park on the street close by Sent from Outlook for iOS”

“There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery!”

“Fantastic location but no parking space included was problematic. Car parks fill up quickly. There was no welcome pack or information about the property. The property decor was dated and cleaning was not up to standard. For example the dust and dirt behind the beds and tops of plug sockets, splashes of food and drink on the doors and no light bulb in the bedroom.”
