The light in the bathroom was connected with the air vent motor and was very noisy. If one used the bathroom during the night, anyone else in the room was sure to be awakened. “Would not recommend”

“Clean, cheap hotel, old but suitable for a quick stay. Old furniture but functional. Safe and adequate.”

“Right on the ocean….nuff said. Fall asleep listening to the waves.”

“Un motel sencillo pero cómodo y limpio. Accesible y con lo necesario para pasar la noche”

“Not for everyone. I had no issues staying here. He’s an old man and not super happy you are there. That’s fine with me.”

“Very clean and well designed room. Full kitchen and big bathroom! Comfortable bed.”

“Hermoso Hostel , cerca del trail y de 2 buenos lugares para tomar una cerveza y comer algo”

“This properties level of cleanliness is terrible. The young man that helped us to get clean linen and towels was very nice. The room needed a complete cleansing. The buildings steel stairwell in rusted almost clean through. In my opinion this property need too many repairs and upgrades. ”

“The floors could be replaced. Other than that the place is totally awesome”

“Excellent sunrise and view. Mirror in room would have helped us to free the bathroom sooner as the bathroom was sharing.”

“We loved our stay at Rocky Valley Resort! It's close enough to walk to the town of Van Anda. Only 20 minutes from the most beautiful beaches. The units are fully stocked with everything you need. Very nice beds! Clean, clean, clean! ”

“Very good motel, old but well preserved. We stayed two non-consecutive nights and thus tried two different rooms. Both had fully equipped kitchen separate from bedroom, which was very handy in Port Alberni, where restaurants are scarce. There is a takeaway menu available, as well. Owner was very attentive and wifi excellent.”
