Nice, clean hotel, easy parking and great staff. It’s an older hotel but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Bathroom counter very small. Tough for all our toiletries. No fan in the bathroom so had to leave the door open to clear the mirror. No other mirror in the room so no other spot to do makeup, contacts etc. We could hear traffic but it wasn’t terrible. On the other hand the location was very handy.

The room with 2 double beds had 2 separate rooms for each bed which was unexpected but good for us. Did not use cooking facilities but they looked good. Comfortable beds. Parking outside door. Walked to Port Alberni Brewing Company for supper.

Best place in Alberni to stay

The Riverside motel is by far my favorite place to stay. Rooms are very cozy, feels like home, beds are comfortable, staff is always friendly and helpful.
