Great place to stay for Port Alberni. A easy place to stay for the night, clean and doesn't have any major issues. Clean sheets, there's a pool. Not too outdated or anything. Nice affordable place to stay.

The location is very central to the town and lots of shops and other services nearby. The staff is always available and helpful. The bathroom was clean and so was the bedroom. The parking lot is well lit and does not feel unsafe.

Ground maintenance and overall maintenance of the property is ok at best. Looks run down. But the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. We were only passing through. Furniture is dated but again, was fine for our stay. The restaurant on the premises was closed down.

This is an extremely clean hotel! The people who were working at the desk were extremely helpful and friendly! We ended up having to stay for another night as our car was involved in an accident. They went out of their way to secure a ground floor room for us and also offered us the best rate they could. We could not have been happier anywhere else I am sure!

Room was clean except for pee left on the back of the toilet. Area was about 5 min drive to interesting shops and restaurants. Pool and hot tub were out of service, overall vibe was a bit strange but fine for one night. The walls were quite thin, could easily hear doors open /close along with people chatting in their room and hallways.

Despite the external appearance of this hotel being a little tired and weather worn, we were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was large, clean, reasonably nicely decorated, with good AC, well-maintained bathroom and very comfortable bed and bedding. The bathroom products (Dove) were appreciated, and plentiful in large pump bottles, and the towels were large enough and in good condition. These little things matter. It was excellent value and we would stay again if passing through port alberni.

Check-in was relatively easy except that they overbooked us one room, which was a bit of a problem getting straightened out and when we asked the cleaning staff to replace a dirty sheet, we got an argument about it. Beds were comfortable. Parking was good restaurant was closed.

The king bed in our room was extremely comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet area. There was no traffic noise and we slept very well. The hotel is footsteps away from a liquor store, and just up the street from a grocery store, Tim Hortons and gas station. We only stayed one night but found the price and the hotel to be very acceptable and comfortable.

Bed wasn’t done up properly. Bed sheet was work out and stretched. Staff brought new sheet to change. There were no towels in the bathroom, had to ask staff to bring me one. Staff was friendly and helpful tho.
