“Spent two great days at this B&B. It's off the main highways in a small village environment. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful, friendly and made our stay relaxing. The room was large, clean and stocked with tea, coffee and water. “Crown House is a small property run by a superbly hospitable, attentive, and very welcoming staff. Cleanliness of the property is impeccable. Its location on the Cowley Road is ideal since that thoroughfare offers a huge array of tasty, affordable dining options (great Turkish, Chinese, Persian, and North African restaurants). “One of the best B&B rooms I have stayed in. Room size was BIG! Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully provided. The whole place was aesthetically decorated yet very practical - could not fault it. Limited parking on site, but more off-road parking available on side road. We had to leave early, so did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Overall 5 stars and highly recommended!”
