Farid checked us in quickly and was very helpul. It's a little hard to find but in a good location for catching buses or eating out. Several nice resturarnts close by. The shower was great.

Affordable Comfortable Hotel - Oxford, UK

Excellent stay 25 minutes walking to centre. Barber shops, breakfast, coffee shops, oriental cuisine, and clubs/bars within 1-2 mins walking distance. Highly recommended with affordable prices.

Crown House is a small property run by a superbly hospitable, attentive, and very welcoming staff. Cleanliness of the property is impeccable. Its location on the Cowley Road is ideal since that thoroughfare offers a huge array of tasty, affordable dining options (great Turkish, Chinese, Persian, and North African restaurants). Even better, Cowley Road is served by a great many buses going directly in to central Oxford. This makes city access and touring extra-easy. There are also numerous shops, a large, well-stocked Tesco supermarket, and small businesses quite close to the property. Room 4 there is especially large, quite comfortable, and faces Cowley Road itself through grand windows. Light sleepers should be aware that there is a large, very popular music venue directly across the street from Crown House. The musical performances here (3 to 4 times a week) are entirely inaudible within Crown House itself, but exiting crowds of young concert-goers can be quite loud, even raucous between the hours of midnight and 1:00 a.m. on concert nights. Otherwise, Crown House is a perfect, very reasonably priced Oxford stay in a real, diverse, and vibrant neighborhood. So go already!

Very friendly helpful staff. Very professional and very quick to solve any problem. We locked the room and left having forgot something inside and they remotely unlocked it for us in no time. Great service. Very clean large room well stocked with towels and toiletries

Rent men uden charme

Værelserne er noget ucharmerende og slidte, så det er ikke super hyggeligt at opholde sig på dem. Der er ingen lobby e.lign., som man alternativt kan opholde sig i. Men der er rent, køleskab og elkedel på værelset, og beliggenheden er fin ift at gå ind til den gamle bydel. Alt i alt ok for en seng at sove i i 2 nætter.
