“If you're looking for a quiet seaside break in a hotel with a bit of history this is a lovely place to try. The large garden has a clifftop view of the sea and a it's only a short walk down to the beach. It's a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy an afternoon tea or cocktail with friends. If you head away from Cromer, the beaches are sandy and largely empty. “Generally very good, however there was a few disappointing things such as the bed wasn't particularly comfortable, the room was a bit small and tired, the black pudding at breakfast wasn't cooked properly (it was like rubber), also olive oil and balsamic should not be pre-mixed let people adjust the ratio to their taste. The staff were very good and the location is very good.”

“This is a small and cosy place to stay, it feels as if you are staying at a friend’s house. You are very well looked after and nothing is to much trouble, the breakfast couldn’t be better and we had one evening and one Sunday Lunch there which was great. Tim, the owner, even fitted us in when they were already full. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Parking is right outside so easy and convenient. We would stay again, perfect for us.”
