“Right in the middle of town. Walkable to everywhere you need to go. Staff were very friendly. Room was basic but had everything we needed or wanted! Kettle in the room was great for some tea. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Would def stay here again if I come back to Darlington”

“The room was tired and Amenities were poor. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Reception welcome was far from a welcome. The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. “The curtains within Room 222 were far too long and were a health and safety hazard especially for the elderly generation. Bathroom fan did not operate within said room. The Queen size bed mattress was very lumpy and needs to be replaced. On Sunday 30th August 2026 I organised Sunday lunch for five persons, 3 of my relatives and my wife and I.
