Clean and accessible , staff was friendly and helpful
Clean, friendly staff members..........................
Enjoyed just the feel and uniqueness of the hotel being in almost its own little town. Was kind of iffy about the elevator being safe though.
It is nicely redone. I would recommend it to anyone.
The girl at the check in desk was awesome! Friendly, accommodating, funny & fast. The room basically clean. Wish it had a coffee pot!!! Outside noise was loud. But not the guests. Simple go to bed & get up & go. Right off the highway. We were there to sleep & leave. It did that for us
Everything was nice and clean I enjoyed the hot cocoa and cookie! Check in was good!
Amazing room with very tall ceiling and huge window. Christmas decorations were very pretty as well.
This hotel is in the historic fur market building just a few hundred feet from the Gateway Arch. The building exterior and interior are ornate and interesting. The room was in good condition and clean. The included parking garage is nice, particularly in bad weather. We were in town for a Blues game ...
This hotel location was perfect for dining and touring.
LOVE the sliding glass door access for the pet rooms
Staff lady was rude to someone on phone upon us checking in
Underground parking! Very clean and luxurious lobby
Great staff and great breakfast! The bathrooms were extremely small, 24" wide shower, and the space on each side of the toilet was definitely not ADA compliant. Made using the toilet a little difficult for one member of my party. But the price wasn't bad, comped parking was nice, staff was great, ...
Very clean, the people at the front desk were very nice
What I liked about the property is that even though it was very close to the Lambert Airport I rarely heard a airplane. I was on the third floor. For the most part it was quiet. I didn't like that they didn't offer complementary breakfast, no microwave in the room, no free wifi in the rooms.
Excellent 124 year old huge 3-story house originally built for 4 families, which has been faithfully upgraded with beautiful pictures, vintage furniture, and wonderful hospitality . . . We plan to go back repeatedly.
It was a great historical place to stay. Wouldn't mind going back.
Staff was exceptional. Breakfast tasty and room was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.
A vacation simply isn't complete without your furry friend at your side. Bringing your furry friend along for the ride has never been easier with pet-friendly hotels in St. Louis. The two of you will have your pick from plenty of pet-friendly hotels in St. Louis when you book with the AARP Travel Center Powered by Expedia®. So leave some extra room in your suitcase for chew toys, because you're about to embark on a vacation for two.
When you and your pet get to St. Louis, you'll probably want to go exploring. Besides, why would you bring them all the way to St. Louis to keep them locked up in your hotel room all day? If you bring your doggo with you, you can take them out to dog parks, pet-friendly restaurants, and stores. The front desk should be able to give you some ideas if you do not know where to begin. And if your pet needs to rest when you have pet-free plans, we can help you find doggie day-cares and walking services close by. There might even be a pet-sitting service available, so make sure to check when you book your reservations.
AARP Travel has a wide range of pet-friendly hotels. Some of them even offer extra pet-specific conveniences, like food bowls, pet food, luxurious beds, dog-walking services, and t-r-e-a-t-s. Just remember that several hotel chains require added fees or deposits, and may have size and weight limitations for pet companions. Some hotels, including certain chains, offer free pet stays, but a typical surcharge in US hotels is around $25 per night. So cancel the pet-sitter, pack the treats, and head off on your shared getaway.
