“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“The Ferryboat Inn is an old establishment that I last visited ten years ago. It has been sympathetically refurbished keep a lot of the original features but adding a new bar in place of the old conservatory. I was very impressed with all the changes.”

“A very cute place to stay in a lovely market town. Parking nearby (free on Sundays and overnight). Access to the rooms, due to the nature of the historic building, is not the easiest (uneven floors, narrow corridors and stairs). The room was absolutely lovely though; the bed was comfortable with quality bedlinen and pillows. The breakfast buffet was welcome - a small table and chair would have been welcome. “The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away.
