It’s a little confusing when you are booking the Novotel hotel since there are multiple locations. This location is nice because you can walk across the canal and it’s a nice way to see the city. It’s close to a wonderful breakfast spot on the canal!

Lovely relaxing decor in bedroom, very clean and nice towels. Restaurant was a bit basic and felt a little grubby, Standard food like a Wetherspoons but at very inflated prices with no option to visit anywhere else locally. Staff friendly and professional. Would stay again, but maybe eat before we arrived in the evening!

The hotel is good. Further removed from the airport than you’d think though, and costs £4 per person to get there via the shuttle bus, which isn’t often mentioned. The food and lounge were nice. The only gripe would be the air conditioning which didn’t keep up with the heat in the room and only cooled down in the middle of the night. Fix that, and you’ve got a winner.

The property was a nice location to the airport. However, I was a little taken back that the airport shuttle is a few for adults and not included in the hotel cost.

Room is clean, good space, big parking lot but full of cars. Good sound proofing, almost hardly hear anything from the plane noise. However neighbours were very noisy, at 4.30am, sounds like there was a party starting, loud music and talks, screaming. Unsure due to the thin walls or this family particularly wanted everyone to know they were up and ready to celebrate.

Overall the hotel was nice and clean. The reception staff were excellent and the fittness centre was great. The room was a little tried with some fittings looking worse for wear. Carpet had some undesirable stains and there was a faint smell of vomit. I suspect a previous guest had a bad night at somepoint. I can't comment on the food as I went out, but the location and parking were fantastic.
