“The Pack Horse is a lovely old pub with friendly staff that were most helpful. We stayed 1 night, the room was comfortable and was ideal for our stay. They also provided plenty of tea and milk which was a bonus. The only downside is they do not do food but there is a fish & chop shop or takeaway that you can order and bring into the pub to eat.”

“The property doesn't have its own parking. There is free parking available on the street parallel to the entrance but this wasn't clear from the description. I appreciated the keyless nature of the accommodation. The gate lock can be a bit tricky to open. The room was clean and the bathroom was fantastic. They provide some food in the small lounge but I couldn't see anything gluten free.”

“The hotel is in a beautiful and restful setting. The staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant food was brilliant. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and other birds in the grounds.”

“While there is nothing wrong with this hotel if you just want to sleep there, if you want food or drink find somewhere else. On Friday night they closed the bar at least half an hour early so we couldn’t get a drink, on Sunday they were short staffed so stopped serving food at 7pm so we had to eat crisps and nuts! The hotel is a long way from anywhere to nip and get food and drink, so please make sure you are suitably refreshed before coming back.”

“What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.”

“Room was really clean and spacious. Child's bed was not substantial at all. Hot weather meant room was very hot as no A/C. Only 1 small fan available which wasn't effective for a large room. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spa was small but ok. Pool unavailable due to 'high levels' on last day of 2 nights. Didn't have breakfast there but menu looked ok. We had dinner on one of the nights and staff were great. Food arrive in good time. Quality was ok.”
