“Sophie and Paul were most gracious hosts; genuinely kind and friendly and eager to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were excellent, made with fresh ingredients and prepared as their guests preferred. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“This place was spectacular!! We wish would could have stayed longer!! The cottage was beautifully done, the staff was so kind, and how cool to have sheep and cows right out our front door!! We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!!”

“Rooms were very clean and they were always well stocked with plenty coffee, tea hot chocolate and fresh milk.
Breakfast was amazing with good choice of cereals with all hot food freshly cooked.
Free home made cakes were also available later in the day, which was a nice touch.”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate.
In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire!”
