“Pros: En general muy bien, la recepción muy amables, rodeado de supermercados, pubs y restaurantes. La cama es cómoda aunque la almohada es baja para mi. El baño no dispone de nada de amenities, por lo que recomiendo llevar lo necesario uno mismo. Parking compartido con supers por lo que siempre hay hueco. “El personal da un trato excelente. El hotel está muy bien situado para ir y venir al aeropuerto (la parada del bus A1 está en la puerta). Como punto negativo, la habitación estaba helada al llegar, no estaba puesto el aire acondicionado. Lo pusimos nosotros pero al ser ya las 9 de la noche a la llegada, tardó mucho en calentarse la habitación y pasamos algo de frío al irnos a la cama y no vimos mantas extra en el armario.”

“One night stay. Very friendly staff. Lovely village location with nice view of the Wye valley hillsides. Very reasonable pub standard evening meal, breakfast was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable with all the bits you would expect, kettle with tea and coffee, a nice bottle of sparkling water, TV, good quality soap and shower gel etc. Great value for a very reasonable price. Add in that they served a well kept pint of Tribute Ale.”

“The public areas show off the heritage of this very old house to great effect. We loved the breakfast - both staff & food were outstanding. The extensive grounds contain the Golf courses, but even with magnificent trees and the lake, there is no escape from Golf. The only significant disappointment was Wifi coverage in the Mathern annexe. I spent far too much quality time back & forth to reception to no avail. Management seem to be addressing the issue, so fingers crossed for future...
