“Well appointed room with everything you need and stunning view.”

“Absolutely lovely place, Room, bed, pillows, view, staff, breakfast etc etc all 100%”

“What a beautiful property, we couldn’t find one thing that wasn’t right. Would love to stay here again.”

“This was our first time staying at an independent hotel and we were welcomed by a polite staff member. However, the conditions of the room and amenities of it could’ve been better such as the shower, the floor and walls. The shower was mouldy, the floor was very squeaky for both our room and neighbours making the noise doubled and the walls had no purpose whatsoever as they were so thin , hearing neighbours frequently. Our breakfast on the last morning wasn’t served to us and we got told to go...

“The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

“Perfect! Amazing view from the room ! Al clean and really confortable! ”

“Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack...

“Rothay Manor was a beautiful and idyllic setting for our Lake District journey. The grounds, rooms, food and spaces were absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. 10/10 can't wait to return!”

“Perfect location and the breakfast was beautiful. Thank you”

“My wife and I had a great stay at this property for a 4-day visit to the Lake District and could not have been happier. It's located on a quiet street of homes and guest houses, but is a short walk to the center of Keswick as well as my new favorite movie theater, the Alhambra Cinema, and our now-beloved local, the Dog & Gun Pub. It's also walkable to hikes at Skiddaw and Catbells. Our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable with a nice bed for sleeping after an active day. Our...

“The hotel had a beautiful view! We had the room with the larger windows looking directly at the mountains. The staff was super helpful, we had to take extra twenty minutes to check out and they were very helpful about that. The food was lovely. And parking was ample as well!”

“I enjoyed my stay, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable and breakfast was good. The location is stunning, right on the lake near the ferry pier. I’d recommend staying here as a great base to explore the area”

“Nos encantó la decoración del hotel y de la habitación. Las sabanas, cama y almohadas muy cómodas. La atención excelente. Muy bien ubicado cerca de los pueblos mas turísticos pero en las afueras para estar rodeados de vistas y vegetación. ”

“Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”
