The hotel had a beautiful view! We had the room with the larger windows looking directly at the mountains. The staff was super helpful, we had to take extra twenty minutes to check out and they were very helpful about that. The food was lovely. And parking was ample as well!

Very good food. Staff were friendly and room was great. Quite a few bugs in the room and behind the curtains but this might have been because of time of year. The drying room was great. Overall a great stay and I will come back next time I’m in the area.

A stay at The Glaramara is one of my annual “guilty pleasures”! It is not a cheap option but it is an excellent hotel. High quality rooms, friendly & efficient staff, great cuisine and plenty of parking. The location, overlooking some of the great fells of The Lakes is breathtaking.

We stayed only 1 overnight on the way down from scotland. We could see lot of people staying for visiting the lakes. The hotel is in a very nice location. They are also pet friendly and they provided us a towel and a bowl for the dog. We highly recommend both breakfast and set menù dinner which was very nice. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renewed.
