The property itself was well maintained, pool was a little dirty, but ok. The food was not great but it was edible. Did not like the fact that people fed the cats at the patio buffet, so there were cats around while I was trying to dine. There was also dogs in the elite beach area. Wait staff needs to be more attentive to guests not just huddled up chatting. Neco at the elite beach bar was amazing . Super not impressed by the front desk phone service, I tried to call with an issue and kept getting hung up on. For me, the upgrade to elite class was a waste of money. There was no real difference in service or amenities. This was my last stay at a RIU resort.
