Vacations Close To Catalonia Caribe Golf Club

My room had a weird smell. I know I can bring damp-rid to help with that, but that should not be mandatory to enjoy your stay. This was not my first Caribbean holiday and I’ve never had to bring it nor felt the need to. The bed and couch had mold on it. It seemed as if they just paint over the walls with the furniture still in the way, causing for paint on the furniture and a not good paint job. There was a roach in the bathroom. The property as a whole was well kept, however. The dining halls, the pool areas, and the entertainment areas. The swim up bar and the bartenders/workers/servers were absolutely wonderful and made my stay as good as they could have. Had my room been not only updated, but not smelled, mold/bug free; I would’ve loved the resort. The RIU parties are an absolute blast! The music is repetitive but nonetheless; a good time! I would not stay again unless the room is completely updated. I would stay at the 2 sister resorts on the property however.

The staff is kind, attentive and professional. Everyone is accommodating to your needs and friendly.

You’re room can get cleaned everyday , but the properly is dirty. i seen roaches in my bathroom plus room shower. my shower pressure went down as well . & my toliet had crust on it.

The food was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the entertainment staff. Also there night time shows were awesome!
