Vacations Close To Downtown Punta Cana

Nos hospedamos en riu macao. Todo muy bueno. El trato del personal excelente, pero en el buffet olía mucho a humedad y habían varias cucarachas. El agua no tenia muy buen olor, el aire del cuarto no enfriaba mucho para el calor que hace en RD.

3.5/5. My rating is mainly based on the kids’ entertainment,food, and customer service. For a resort marketed as all-inclusive and family-friendly, I was disappointed that bowling, laser tag, and the escape room require additional fees. The arcade also needs more games. If you want your child fully entertained, you can end up spending quite a bit extra, which takes away from the value of “all-inclusive.” The water park and pools were nice, but overall I would describe this resort as more kid-friendly than luxury. If you’re expecting a true luxury experience, you may be disappointed. Room service needs improvement. The menu needs more variety and better quality. The cheeseburger was the best dinner option in my opinion. My chicken sandwich arrived extremely hard and cold, making it difficult to chew. The penne Alfredo was okay but needed more seasoning. Breakfast was good but could offer more options.The arrival experience was disappointing. We were not greeted, and no one helped with our luggage. The driver said someone would assist us, but no one came, so I had to bring my luggage inside myself.However, after I voiced my concerns about the customer service, I received more attention and my concerns were addressed, which I appreciated. I just wish that level of service had been provided from the beginning. I also want to recognize Luis Nolasco, who was an amazing butler, and Kimberli from Customer Care, who was absolutely the best. Their attentiveness and willingness to help
