“Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Flower borders were just lovely! Room (twin deluxe) was spacious, comfortable and clean. One note, we were in room 216 which had view over cafe at back, which was really pretty so not a problem. However, deliveries started unloading at 6am in the morning which wasn't great. The hotel is so close to Beamish working museum, very handy. Few good pubs in the area too.”

There was a lack of any kind of “ale” from the bar (neither bottles or cans) but that was the only missing item really.
