“We enjoyed the bell tent and tipi we had for the night. The children wanted to know why they heard sheep bleating in the field next door - it was late, but the noise level was peaceful. “The room was clean and basic. It was a bit noisy as the plumbing (I assume) sometimes banged loudly in our room. This didn’t go too late into the night and we slept well. The kitchen facilities were good and the large dining/lounge area was a great space. The whole place could do with a lick of paint and a good wipe over. The games and books were tatty with pieces missing (no table tennis with only one bat and no ball!). It was good to have a bar which was reasonably well resourced. When we...
