Villas en Poundon

“Lovely B&B would have been nice to have Breakfast included in the room rate. Room lovely, comfy bed a great pillows. Lovely Roast. We will definitely return !”

“Communal areas excellent but rooms a little tired, especially bathroom which needs some tlc. Staff excellent. Dogs allowed and well received.”

“An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return.”

“Loved this place.”

“Lovely room comfortable bed staff friendly and helpful and a lovely breakfast”

“Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend”

“Excelente, lugar solitario a media hora de Oxford , si vas en auto es excelente lugar para quedarse , todo muy bonito y limpio , personal muy atento”

“Everything was good from start to finish. I was celebrating a significant birthday with my wife and the staff ahead of our visit were very good in ensuring that my wife's plans were taken care of. The restaurant provided a range of varied food choices and the quality was good. Overall a very pleasant stay.”

“Room cleanliness ”

“Habitaciones perfectamente limpias. No hay limpieza a diario (ni falta que hace), pero sí te ofrecen toallas nuevas y cualquier cosa que necesites. Obviamente, las instalaciones no son modernas. Es un hotel antiguo, histórico, y ahí radica buena parte de su encanto. Tuvimos un problema con la accesibilidad y lo resolvieron con gran amabilidad y eficacia. El pub del hotel es encantador, y el patio, delicioso para comer o tomar algo cuando hace buen tiempo.”

“Recommend this location highly! Property is really well maintained - super clean, neutral decoration maintained to a high standard, fresh soft furnishings including plush towels, breakfast choice is excellent and the owner is a welcoming host.”

“We had a nice and comfortable stay overall. The venue is lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The rooms were nice, although a little dated in places. There were just a few things that could have been better. The toiletries were very limited for two people – only one soap, one shower gel and one body lotion. There was also a crack in the shower, and the water was filling up when using the sink, which wasn’t ideal. The spa was lovely, but we were disappointed that we had to pay...

“The reception was very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were great for an old building. It was very conveniently situated and would recommend to others”
