Clean room!!

Pasamos cinco días maravillosos en Casona Sforza y no nos queríamos ir. La arquitectura es increíble y las instalaciones, impecables. Es un hotel pequeño, perfecto para quienes buscan una verdadera experiencia boutique: íntima, tranquila y con mucha privacidad. A pesar de su tamaño, tiene distintos rincones y ambientes donde pasar el día, todos con una maravillosa sensación de paz. Las habitaciones son espectaculares. No se escucha absolutamente nada excepto las olas del mar. Es el lugar perfecto para desconectar. Incluso los demás huéspedes parecían estar en la misma sintonía de tranquilidad y serenidad. La comida es deliciosa: un menú pequeño, muy bien pensado, variado y cuidadosamente curado. El servicio fue extraordinario. Especialmente queremos agradecer a José, Lina y Bruno, quienes siempre nos atendieron con una sonrisa y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros. Celebrábamos nuestro aniversario y nos ayudaron a organizar una cena de degustación privada en la playa, con una decoración y montaje impecables. Fue una noche realmente especial. Fueron cinco días perfectos. Nos fuimos con la sensación de haber encontrado un lugar verdaderamente especial. Sin duda volveríamos.

We liked the breakfast & the room size is good. What we dint like was the road to get there, make sure you rent an all terrain vehicle because the streets are bad. No parking lot either you park outside the property. Walking distance to la punta is about 10 minutes. Also dint like that the plunge pool was not full and it would take forever to fill and the water was cold.

Hotel was super clean, cute, and in the perfect location! 🩷 It was right in the middle of everything—bars, restaurants, and the beach, which made it so easy to get around. The staff was absolutely amazing, super attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. 😊 I would definitely stay here again! 10/10 ✨

You will either love it or hate it. I’m a solo traveler from Dallas, and Raíz may be one of the strangest places I’ve stayed. I arrived after dark and thought, “What have I done?” The neighborhood is VERY rough—unpaved sandy roads, barking stray dogs, graffiti, abandoned construction and unfinished properties. In daylight, though, Raíz is actually pretty cool. Huge cement rooms, gorgeous thatched roofs, palms, elevated walkways, exposed copper plumbing and SUPER AC. You can even faintly hear the ocean. Someone created a unique tropical hideaway in the middle of a very rough neighborhood. Unfortunately, cleanliness, smoke and noise ruined it for me. There were numerous dead/trapped bugs near my ceiling and bugs everywhere outside. Breakfast had fruit, yogurt, bread and eggs, but small flying bugs were landing around the uncovered food. Ugh. Cover the food! Smoking was my biggest issue. It’s a tiny open-air property, so there’s nowhere to escape cigarette smoke. I would not return for this reason alone. Then there’s sleep: barking dogs, roosters, loud cars, conversations and late-night activity. Even with my doors closed, sleep was nearly impossible. The nearby beach is beautiful but VERY rough. Raíz provides a towel and umbrella, and inexpensive restaurants are nearby. Bottom line: Enjoy the cool room, palms, beach and delicious welcome cocktail. Prepare for bugs, noise, a rough neighborhood and apparently shortening your life breathing cigarette smoke.

We recently had the pleasure of staying one week at Santa Fe hotel zicatela Puerto Escondido Oaxaca,and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The Restaurant delicious food and excellent service, The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The bed was remarkably comfortable,made our stay truly memorable. Everything is near to the hotel. Thank all staff!! The location of this hotel is amazing and we can’t wait to return to on my next visit. Highly recommended!”👍
